Electric Magnetic Muscle Stimulator

Explanation of Muscle Magnetic Stimulation (MMS) Machine:

The Muscle Magnetic Stimulation (MMS) machine is a device that uses electromagnetic fields to stimulate muscle contractions. These contractions mimic the effects of intense physical exercise, leading to increased muscle mass and potentially reducing fat in targeted areas. The effects can last for up to a year, depending on individual factors and consistent follow-up care. The MMS machine can be used on its own in a session or during a workout to enhance the benefits of physical activity.

How the MMS Machine Works:

  • Electromagnetic Stimulation: The MMS machine delivers electromagnetic pulses to the muscles, causing involuntary contractions that are stronger and more frequent than voluntary contractions during regular exercise.
  • Fat Loss: The machine increases metabolic activity in targeted areas, which can contribute to fat loss over time. The stimulation also encourages the breakdown of fat cells in the treated area.
  • Increased Muscle Mass: The intense contractions induced by the MMS machine promote muscle hypertrophy, leading to increased muscle mass that may be sustained for up to a year with proper maintenance.

Contraindications:

You cannot use the MMS machine if you have any of the following conditions:

  • Pregnancy (After Three Months): The electromagnetic fields may affect fetal development.
  • Metal Implants: The magnetic stimulation can interfere with metal implants, causing potential displacement or malfunction.
  • Pacemaker or Stents: Magnetic fields can disrupt the function of pacemakers or interfere with the structural integrity of stents, potentially leading to life-threatening complications.
  • Use of Beta Blockers: If you are taking beta blockers, particularly those found in certain glaucoma eye drops (e.g., Betagan, Betamol, Timolol), the MMS machine may cause adverse reactions. These medications are often identifiable by a yellow or light blue cap.

Pre-Use Requirements:

  • Hydration: You must drink plenty of water before the session to help your body manage the intense muscle contractions.
  • Bathroom Use: Please use the bathroom before the session to ensure comfort during the treatment.
  • Medical Updates: If you receive any new information about your health, either before or after using the MMS machine, you must inform your trainer before continuing use of the equipment.

Post-Use Considerations:

  • Normal Reactions: It is normal to feel tired or sore after a session. The degree of soreness and tiredness varies from person to person and may last into the night following the treatment.
